What you will do
- Convert board goals into measurable plans for sales, operations and product, while improving margins and unit economics.
- Expand customer segments, delivery capacity, platform use, revenue streams and strategic partnerships.
- Build and lead teams across operations, logistics, technology and customer service, including key recruitment and development systems.
- Improve platform usability, reliability and logistics integration with technology leaders.
- Oversee dispatch, fleet efficiency, customer experience and data-informed decisions.
- Lead enterprise and SMB sales, pricing, retention, partnerships and regulatory discussions.
- Report financial results, KPIs, risks and opportunities to the board and investors, and prepare for fundraising when needed.
Requirements
- Have 8 to 12 or more years in operations, logistics, marketplace platforms or rapidly scaling technology ventures.
- Have held senior posts such as CEO, COO, Commercial Director or GM with full P&L responsibility.
- Show a record of scaling teams, growing revenue and creating systems.
- Be able to operate at strategic and practical levels in a fast-moving environment.
- English fluency is required; Amharic is preferred.
