What you will do
- Deliver project activities and outputs with the Programme Manager.
- Help identify, assess, and select participating souks.
- Run baseline, midline, and endline surveys, training, and one-to-one owner coaching.
- Support souk owners to form business associations and review field risks with the Programme Manager.
- Maintain the work plan, build relationships with public, private, finance, association, and academic stakeholders, and report weekly and against monthly and quarterly targets.
Requirements
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, Entrepreneurship, Human Resources, MIS, or a related business field.
- Have 2 years' consulting or micro-business experience in Addis Ababa.
- Know current retail-industry trends and be willing to travel often in informal settlements.
- Write strong reports and build stakeholder relationships.
- Use MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, communicate well, solve problems creatively, and work with limited supervision.
